The Pink Floyd Exhibition: Their Mortal Remains

I woke this morning with Pink Floyd tunes buzzing around my head…. This can only be explained by the fact that I went to see their exhibition at the Victoria & Albert Museum yesterday.  I’ve been waiting for this for quite some time and was delighted to get tickets in its opening week.

And what a treat – a Pink Floyd extravaganza!  After queuing briefly we were given Sennheiser headphones (superb) and off we went.  The headphones allowed me to immerse myself in all the visuals and music; ably assisted by GPS which meant I didn’t have to keep pressing buttons for the next instalment.

Memorabilia, interviews, props from live shows, manuscripts, photos, the exhibition was awash with them.  I don’t really want to say much more as I don’t want to spoil it for you.  All I will say, is that if you like Pink Floyd’s music from whatever era, even if you only know one record, go see; you won’t be disappointed.
